Ashby strikes out 10 for Windsor win

WINDSOR—Windsor’s Aaron Ashby struck out 10 batters and gave up three hits during a 12-1 Tri-Rivers District win over Charles City on Friday.
The Dukes are 9-3 overall and 4-0 in the district.
For Windsor, Colt Copeland scored hit a home run and had two RBIs. Ashby went 1-for-2, including a three-run homer.
Ernie Jump also went 1-for-2 and stole one base and had one RBI. Gavin Horton scored 3 times, went 1-for-1 with an RBI and a stolen base.
Sharod Patterson went 1-for-2 with an RBI. Zack Keeling went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases.
