BLACKSTONE—Tidewater Academy suffered a 5-1 softball loss to Kenston Forest Thursday.

Tidewater Academy’s Samantha Spain went 1-for-2 with a home run in the sixth inning for the team’s only score.

TA pitcher Taylor Warner fell to 10-7 on the season. Amber Gibson picked up the win for Kenston Forest.

The Lady Warriors drop to 11-7 on the season and 8-4 in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference.
