POWHATAN—Southampton High School senior Ronnie Powell won the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes during a Southside District track meet in Powhatan on Wednesday.

The only first-place finish for the boys was the 4×800-meter relay team. Members were Brian Draper, Joseph Miles, Jeff Raiford and Justin McHenry.

Powhatan girls and boys won the meet. For the girls, Southampton took second and Park View third. For the boys, Park View placed second and Southampton third.

Victoria Blow—Second in the 100-meter dash

Imani Duck—Second in the shot put

Megan Owens—Fourth in the 200-meter dash

Kirstyn Andrew—Fourth in the 800-meter run

BOYS

Ashton Holland—Second in the 200- and 400-meter dashes

Brian Draper—Third in the 800- and 3,200-meter runs.

Saiquan Fenner—Third in the 100- and 200-meter dashes and fourth in the long jump

Jarvis Tucker—Third in the shot put and fourth in discus
