Former Franklin resident Mary Katherine Duffy and Craig Thomas Gothreaux were married at 3 p.m. March 11, 2011, in Baton Rouge, La.

The ceremony was held at the couple’s home with the bride and groom’s family present.

The bride is the daughter of Donna and William C. Duffy Jr. of Collierville, Tenn. She is the granddaughter of Mary Katherine Duffy and the late William C. Duffy Sr. and Virginia Getman.

The groom is the son of Catherine and Richard Gothreaux. He is the grandson of the late Ethel Lee and Ordra Sonnier and Leona and Durphy Gothreaux.

The new Mrs. Gothreaux received a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in 2004 and is enrolled in the registered nursing program at Baton Rouge General Hospital in Louisiana.

Her husband earned a bachelor’s degree in 2003 and master’s of science degree in 2007, both from Louisiana State.
