PETERSBURG—Appomattox Regional Governor’s School defeated the Windsor girls’ tennis team 9-0 on Wednesday in Petersburg.

Shelby Floyd defeated Laura Patrick 5-1, 6-0; Nourdjan Hadjivelieva defeated Taylor Ferguson 6-3, 6-1; Morgan Loehr defeated Jessica Bryant 6-2, 6-0; Aly Metz defeated Jessica Blythe 6-1, 6-0; Sydney Tilghman defeated LaKendra Batten 6-1, 6-1; and Ginny Slattum defeated Janie Robertson 6-0, 6-1.

Patrick and Ferguson lost to Hadjivelieva 6-2, 6-2; Bryant and Blythe lost to Metz and Tilghman 6-2, 6-0; and Batten and Robertson lost to Floyd and Slattum 8-1.
