LAWRENCEVILLE—For the second time in three weeks, Tricia Gorman recorded 10 RBIs in a single game.

Only four other softball players in NCAA Division II history have accomplished the feat.

Chowan (25-17) recorded 32 total hits in a lopsided doubleheader against St. Paul’s College on Monday. The Hawks took game one 24-1 and the nightcap 21-1.

Neither game was ever in jeopardy, as the Hawks scored early and often. Gorman went 5-6 at the plate in the opener. She was a triple away from hitting for the cycle and had at least one RBI in five of six plate appearances.

Chowan will travel to Laurinburg, N.C., on Saturday, April 9, to take on St. Andrews Presbyterian College at 2 p.m.
