Warner gives up 2 hits in 11-5 TA win

RICHMOND—Tidewater Academy’s Taylor Warner improved her record to 3-0, while giving up 2 hits an striking out 7 during Tuesday’s 11-5 win over Richmond Christian School.

The Virginia Commonwealth Conference win improved the Lady Warriors’ record to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the VCC.

Lady Warrior Cary Beahm went 3-for-3, with 1 double, 3 runs and 2 RBIs.

Warner went 3-for-4, with 1 double, 1 run, 4 RBIs and a stolen base, and Samantha Spain went 3-for-4 with 3 runs, 1 double and 1 RBI.

Tidewater scored 3 runs in the third inning, 6 in the fourth and 2 in the fifth on 14 hits while committing 1 error. Richmond Christian had 2 hits and committed 1 error.
