WAKEFIELD—Tidewater Academy girls lost 42-41 to Brunswick during a Virginia Commonwealth Conference game on Wednesday night.
Cary Beahm led the Lady Warriors with 12 points and 15 rebounds; Falon Williams added 9 points and 7 rebounds.
Brunswick Academy’s Mackenzie Blackwell scored 17 points; Ashley Britton added 15.
Tidewater led 12-6 at the end of the first quarter, and the game was tied at 20 at the half. Tidewater went into the fourth quarter with a 33-32 lead.
The Lady Warriors are 7-10 overall and 4-7 in the conference.
