POWHATAN—Southampton Academy Senior Michael Milteer led with 13 points during Monday night’s 60-48 loss to Blessed Sacrament Huguenot.

Raiders Garrett Smith and Rashodd Maxey had 7 rebounds a piece during the Virginia Commonwealth Conference game.

Blessed Sacrament led 20-11 at the end of the first quarter and 33-26 at the half.

“We kept the deficit to (a minimum) in the second half,” said SA Coach David Gibbs. “We cut the deficit to 5 points on two occasions and 8 points on three occasions.”

The Raiders dropped to 2-10 overall and 0-8 in the conference.
