WAKEFIELD—Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot’s Austin Taylor pumped in 24 points for a 41-36 Virginia Conference Commonwealth win over Tidewater Academy on Thursday.

The Lady Warriors fell to 5-7 overall and 3-6 in the conference.

Blessed Sacrament led 10-8 at the end of the first quarter, 24-19 at the half and 34-25 at the end of the third period.

For the Lady Warriors, Cary Beahm led with 17 points. Samantha Dunn led with 15 rebounds, while teammate Falon Williams added 11 and Beahm 10.

Tidewater made 8 out of 13 free-throw attempts. The opponents were 9-for-17.

For Blessed Sacrament, Taylor and Geene Landon each made 3-pointers.
