COURTLAND—Three Southampton Academy football players were chosen for the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association’s First Team.

They were senior running back David Bogese, senior defensive lineman Storm Gray and offensive lineman Will Edwards. Edwards was also chosen as a Second Team linebacker.

The Virginia Commonwealth Conference chose Gray and Edwards for the all-conference First Team; Edwards was chosen as a lineman and linebacker.

Second Team honorees were Bogese, senior offensive lineman Zac Ramsey, senior defensive linemen Reed Felts and John Hinkle, senior defensive back Devon Reyes and junior linebacker Wesley Barnes. Barnes also received honorable mention as quarterback.
