Ricks leads Lady Dukes to 33-25 win

KING AND QUEEN COURT HOUSE—Windsor junior Candace Ricks scored 10 points to lead the Lady Dukes to a 33-25 Friday night win over King and Queen.

Senior teammate Lyndee Spencer add 8 points. Freshman Macayla Servais led with 8 steals and sophomore Curneshia Waters made 11 rebounds.

The Lady Dukes trailed 8-6 after the first quarter and led 15-14 at the half. Windsor outscored King and Queen 10-4 in the third quarter and 8-7 in the fourth.

Windsor’s record improved to 1-4 overall.

Windsor hosts First Baptist at 5:30 p.m. today, Dec. 13, and Appomattox Regional Governor’s School at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14.
