Laurel Hunter Round and Tyler Dusman Billingsley were married Sept. 11, 2010, at the summit of Jay Peak in Vermont with the Rev. Martha Peck officiating.


A reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents n Lake Memphremagog, Vt.

The bride is the daughter of retired U.S. Navy Capt. and Mrs. William H. Round of Newport Center, Vt. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Donald G. Murfee of Drewryville and the late Donald Murfree.

The groom is the son of Drs. Melvin L. and Elizabeth Billingsley of Hershey, Pa., and Dianne Dusman and James Halterman of Wellsville, Pa.

Both are graduates of Virginia Tech University with degrees in civil engineering. Both were members of the university’s ski team.

The new Mrs. Billingsley teaches math at North County Union High School in Newport.

Her husband is the project engineer for Jay Peak Resort.
