Franklin High School fell from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 47-44 road loss to Charles City in high school football action Friday night.

Southampton High School and Southampton Academy each scored victories.  SHS beat Parkview 30-26 in a seesaw battle in South Hill, while SA posted a 47-45 homecoming victory over Quantico.

In other action, Windsor lost at home to Sussex Central and Isle of Wight Academy lost to Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot on the road.
