FRANKLIN—Franklin Mustang Javonte Baker scored on 40- and 50-yard touchdown runs to lead his team to an 18-0 shutout over the Boykins Bulldogs Thursday.

Baker’s first touchdown came during the offense’s first play of the game. He also scored the second touchdown.

Ayonte’ Holley scored the final touchdown on a 20-yard run.

Carlton Kearney led the defense. He was joined by twins Daniel and Shane Agunzo, Petrell Hunt and Stephen Pullen.

“I’m pleased with the team’s play tonight,” said Mustang Coach Rob Carter. “We still have plenty of room for improvement, and with Courtland coming up Monday night, we don’t have much time to rest.”

In other action, the Mustang B-Team defeated Holland Razorback B Team 13-12. The older Razorbacks defeated the Windsor Knights; no score was available.

On Monday, the Mustangs will play the Courtland Indians at 8 p.m. The Mustang B-Team will play at 6.
