Parker Oil & Propane sent crews from Franklin earlier this fall to Florida to aid in the recovery effort in the wake of storms that ravaged The Sunshine State.
Kevin Lackey, of the Parker Oil Company, noted near the end of September that seven crews were dispatched, including two from Franklin.
“They are staged in Tallahassee at the moment until the storm rolls through, then they will be filling generators and power trucks until Florida is back up and running,” he said.
The Franklin crew members included Chris Burns, Thomas Freda, Jonathan Ford and Edward Winslow.
