FRANKLIN – Caroll Anne Lease Kimbrell, 68, passed away on Feb. 27, 2021, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

Caroll Anne Kimbrell

Born in Portsmouth and a former resident of Geiger, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Dot Bullock.

Caroll was a secretary for her husband’s business, Black Belt Ag Supply in Alabama. She was a member of Elevate Church and a huge Alabama football fan.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Richard Ronald “Ron” Kimbrell; three daughters, Angela Sessions (Walt) of Mobile, Alabama, Anna Hagood of Franklin and Katie Kimbrell (Ben Stephenson) of Wakefield; two sisters, Abby Porter and Peggy Kemp (Darold), both of Carrsville; five grandchildren, Dalton Hagood, Walt Sessions, Ryley Hagood, Kloe Sessions and Aiden Darden; a “surrogate daughter,” Gina Bailey; and her beloved grand dog, Dixie. Caroll loved her family, friends and her Elevate Church family.

The family would like to say a special thanks to her home health nurse, Angela Burris and to her friend, Krystal Romines.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Steele Carr officiating.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Elevate Church Building Fund, 23486 Deer Path Trail, Windsor, VA 23487.
