FRANKLIN

Trevon L. Bellamy of Franklin High School and Allison L. Hudgins of Southampton High School are recipients of $500 each from the Mary D. Wilson Scholarship Committee. This scholarship is issued to one graduating senior from each school interested in teaching careers.

Trevon’s career goal is to become a government teacher. He is employed locally and has participated in extra-curricular activities such as football, Drama Club, FCCLA, wrestling and Book and Spanish clubs.

As a National Honor Society member, Trevon is described as a model student, and is looking forward to attending George Mason University in the fall.

Allison is starting her career at Coastal Carolina University in the fall, and her goal is to become a special education preschool teacher. In addition to acquiring work experience, she has been president of the National Honor Society, secretary for Student Government and Future Business Leaders of America.

Allison is described as an outstanding student and a young dedicated leader.

The Mary D. Wilson Scholarship Committee congratulates the students on their future success.
