Mr. and Mrs. Jesse D. Gardner III of Towson, Maryland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Natalie Virginia Gardner of Towson, to Samuel Lawrence Andrews of Columbia, Maryland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira C. Andrews Jr. of Columbus, Mississippi.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse D. Gardner Jr. of Franklin, Virginia, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barnickel of Baltimore, Maryland.

She is a graduate of Towson High School and a 2012 graduate of Virginia Tech, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Spanish.

She is employed as a workforce analyst for T. Rowe Price in Baltimore, Maryland.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira Andrews of Columbus, and Mrs. Maureen Kemp and the late Mr. Kendall Kemp of Carthage, Mississippi.

He is a graduate of New Hope School and Itawamba Community College, and is a 2013 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering.

He is employed as a design engineer for BTE in Hanover, Maryland.

The couple will exchange vows on July 8, 2016, at 5 p.m. in Antrim 1844 in Taneytown, Maryland.
