MORGANTOWN, W.VA.

Miss Carlie Lauren Clark and Mr. Christopher Lloyd Tomlinson announce their engagement.

Miss Clark is the daughter of Pam Clark of Drewryville, Virginia, and the late Michael Clark of Gaffney, South Carolina.

Mr. Tomlinson is the son of Gary and Annette Tomlinson of Pennington Gap, Virginia.

A 2012 graduate of Southampton High School, Miss Clark went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in English in 2016 at University of Virginia – Wise, and then a master’s in education.

Mr. Tomlinson earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 2012, followed by a master’s in history from George Mason University.

Both are pursuing graduate education at West Virginia University, where they are employed.

The wedding will take place on Saturday, May 2, in Wise, Virginia.
