Shots fired at Dorchester apartments

FRANKLIN

For the third time in a week, Franklin Police have had to respond to a call of shots being fired. This time the call came in at 8:10 a.m. on Friday in the Dorchester Square Apartments. Capt. Tim Whitt, spokesman for the city police, said the investigation revealed that an unknown person had fired four rounds; officers had recovered four .40 caliber cartridge casings.

The police learned that one of the shots had struck an apartment in the F section, the bullet penetrated the wall and narrowly missed a resident who was lying in bed. There are no witnesses and no suspect information.
