FRANKLIN
The Board of Directors for The Village at Woods Edge is excited to announce an addition to the Village leadership team. Franci Bradshaw has accepted the position of director of sales and marketing.

The Village’s Board of Directors began seeking candidates to fulfill the sales and marketing position after the announcement of former marketing director Texie Marks’ intentions to retire in July. After careful consideration of the direction of the position, the Board identified talents within The Village leadership team and decided to promote Bradshaw.

Bradshaw is stepping into this role with more than three years of dedication to The Village. After working in the marketing department for Outer Banks Visitors Bureau and then for a small business in Georgia, Bradshaw decided to return to the place she calls home and establish her career in Franklin, Virginia. She began working at The Village as a receptionist and was quickly promoted to executive assistant and marketing assistant.

“The Village has been an amazing place to work, and I am so excited for the opportunity to continue to grow with The Village. I am grateful for having mentors like Billie Turner, Rhonda Stewart (former executive director) and Texie Marks to learn from and humbled by the Board’s decision to promote me to this role,” said Bradshaw.

“As executive assistant and marketing assistant, she has been an asset to our leadership team and has had the privilege of assisting several residents in their decision to move to The Village,” said Billie Turner, executive director.

“I am really fortunate to work for an organization whose mission I believe in so strongly and in a community I love. Having the opportunity to dedicate my time spreading that message and working directly with future residents is just the icing on the cake,” said Bradshaw.

“The Village is very fortunate to have Franci represent us as our director of sales and marketing. Her love for The Village is apparent in all that she does,” said Turner.
