WINDSOR
Mr. and Mrs. William A. Gwaltney Jr. of Windsor, Virginia, announce with pleasure the engagement of their daughter, Brett Nichole Gwaltney, to Daniel Corbin Bowie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Corbin G. Bowie of Bowling Green, Virginia.

Ms. Gwaltney is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy G. Gwaltney and the late Mr. William A. Gwaltney of Windsor, and Mrs. Edith P. Whitfield of Franklin, Virginia, and the late Mr. John C. Rose of Carrsville, Virginia.

Ms. Gwaltney is a 2009 graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy and a 2013 graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor of science degree in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise with a concentration in Dietetics.

She is a Registered Dietitian with Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, Richmond, Virginia.

Mr. Bowie is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Bowie and the late Mr. Carlyle Bowie of Woodford, Virginia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Allen Tignor of Tignor, Virginia.

Mr. Bowie is a 2009 graduate of Caroline High School, and a 2013 graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor of science degree in Agricultural Sciences with minors in Crop and Soil Environmental Science and Geography.

He is a Technology Technician with Carter Machinery in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

A June 2017 wedding is planned in Williamsburg, Virginia.
