Legislators invited to breakfast forum

SMITHFIELD
Virginia delegates and senators representing Western Tidewater have been invited to participate in the Richard J. Holland Pre-Legislative Session Breakfast Forum. This annual preview of the upcoming General Assembly is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 5, and will be in the Smithfield Center starting at 8 a.m.
The GA begins work on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at noon, in Richmond.
This year’s program is an opportunity to interact with the delegation on issues facing both the region and Commonwealth.
A question-and-answer session will follow their presentations.
Registration for Chamber members is $17.50; $20 for non-members.
This is also an opportunity for local high school students, so please consider sponsoring a student. The cost is $15 per student.
