Kaitlyn Farley of Suffolk and Brandon Vaughan of Franklin are engaged.

She is the daughter of Butch and Dina Farley of Suffolk.
He is the son of Keith Vaughan of Franklin and Marina Drake of Franklin
Kaitlyn is the maternal granddaughter of the late Dale and Alice Kisner, and paternal granddaughter of Harold and Carolyn Farley of Norfolk.
Miss Farley is a 2010 graduate of Nansemond River High School, and is attending Tidewater Community College, where she’s studying Pre-Med. She’s also a nursing care partner at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Brandon is the maternal grandson of the late Edward Drake, and paternal grandson of Mary Betty Vaughan of Courtland.
He is a 2005 graduate of Southampton High School, and is working at Harris Teeter as a co-manager.
The wedding is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 1.
