Inclement weather has again put the chill on learning in Western Tidewater.

Isle of Wight County Schools spokeswoman Kenita Bower confirmed on early Wednesday evening of closings for Thursday in that district.

“Due to freezing temperatures and road conditions, all Isle of Wight County Schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, Feb. 26. Interim report cards will now be issued on March 9 instead of March 2,” she said. “We will continue to monitor weather and road conditions to provide updates as they are received.”
