FRANKLIN—Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Faison of Franklin are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Faison, to Darryl Bradshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bradshaw, also of Franklin.

Miss Faison is the maternal granddaughter of Andrew McMillan of Greenville, and the late Patty McMillan. She is the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Faison of Franklin.

The future bride graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2010, where she majored in political science.

She is employed as a financial services representative with State Employees Credit Union in Murfreesboro, North Carolina.

Mr. Bradshaw is the maternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman E. Wilkins Sr., and the paternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bradshaw of Suffolk.

The future groom graduated from James Madison University in 2011, where he majored in computer information systems. He is employed as a an e-commerce supervisor with Bayport Credit Union in Newport News.

An intimate outdoor wedding is planned for Aug. 31, 2014, on the beach at Nags Head, North Carolina.
