Bill and Diane Jervey of Capron announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Marie, to Hugh Ryan Holloman.

He is the son of Larry and Brenda Holloman of Newsoms.

The bride-to-be is the maternal granddaughter of Kenneth and Iola Gay, and paternal granddaughter of Ann Jervey, and the late Louis “Packy” Jervey.

Her future husband is the maternal grandson of Doris Carr and the late Hugh Carr, and paternal grandson of the late J.R. and Adelle Holloman.

A 2006 graduate of Southampton High School, Jervey received an associate of applied science degree in 2008 from Tidewater Community College. She is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Physical Therapy Works in Suffolk.

A 2003 graduate of Southampton High School, Holloman is a Senior Equipment Operator for Southampton County Public Utilities.

The wedding is set for August 3, 2013, at High Street United Methodist Church in Franklin.
