Terri Franzman Haselberger of St. Paul, Minn., and Samuel Wills Purviance of Wakefield have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late John and Mabel Johnson Franzman of Minnesota and the mother of Amy Marie Bohn and Michael Lawrence Haselberger.

She recently retired after 36 years as a social worker for Ramsey County, Minn.

Her fiancé is the son of Samuel W. and Mary Hilda Wills Purviance of Wakefield and the father of Ronald and Greg Ewald, and Samuel and Mary Alice Purviance. He also has five grandchildren.

He is the retired former owner of Purviance Funeral Home of Wakefield.

The couple will set a wedding date later this year.
