FRANKLIN—The team of James Ridley, Frankie Bordeaux, Bill Covington Sr. and Terry Moore won the 13th annual Southampton Invitational golf tournament with a score of 16 under par.

The team of Les Jones, Manny Upton, J.R. Weaver and Will Sharp took second with a score of 13 under par.

Held at Cypress Cove Country Club Monday, the captain’s choice tournament was a fundraiser for the Southampton High School Athletic Department.

“The money will go wherever it is needed within the department,” said organizer Larry Rose.

Rose would not say how much was raised, but said they were “just happy.”
