CHARLOTTESVILLE—Denise Mills of Palmyra and Mr. and Mrs. Stephen A. Finley of Charlottesville have announced the engagement of their daughter, Kristi Ann Finley, to Chad Anderson Felts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Felts Jr. of Ivor.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Mills Jr., Mr. and Mrs. William A. Finley Jr. and Ann H. Sullivan and the late Gilbert J. Sullivan, all of Charlottesville. The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Anderson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Felts Sr., all of Ivor.

Finley and Felts were college sweethearts at the University of Virginia, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish and psychology and he earned a bachelor of arts degree in history.

She is employed with the Social Security Administration. He is attending the Wake Forest University School of Law and will graduate in May.

A wedding is planned for August in Charlottesville.
