Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kea of Ivor announce the engagement of their niece, Melissa Kitchen, to Chris Hardt of Ivor.

He is the grandson of Jack Hardt and the late Brenda Hardt.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Sylvia Chappell of Emporia and the late Glen Chappell.
She is a 2003 graduate of Southampton High School.
Her fiancé graduated from Southampton High in 2006.
The couple plans to wed April 7, 2012, at Millfield Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the Airfield Conference Center in Wakefield.
