Samuel and Betsy Bradshaw of Franklin announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Rose, to Ned Bonsack Jeter II of Roanoke.


He is the son of Ned Jeter of Roanoke and Cindy Jeter of Blue Ridge.

The bride-to-be is the maternal granddaughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth Blythe and paternal granddaughter of the late Reginald and Sarah Bradshaw.

A 2002 graduate of Southampton High School, she received bachelor’s degrees in agricultural economics and political science and a master’s degree in education from Virginia Tech. She is a district sales manager for Monsanto.

Her fiancé is the maternal grandson of Mildred Crocker of Fincastle and the late Theodore Crocker and the paternal grandson of the late Richard and Genevee Jeter.

A 1999 graduate of Lord Botetourt High School, he received an associate’s degree in agribusiness from Virginia Tech. He is self-employed as a farmer at Jeter Farm in Roanoke.

They will wed April 21, 2012, in Roanoke.
