Brown nets 16 in SHS win

COURTLAND—Senior Kelcee Brown scored 16 points to lead Southampton High School to a 59-16 win over Windsor on Wednesday night.

Sophomore Brittney Johnson added 10 points for the host Lady Indians during the non-conference game.

Taquisha Harris led Windsor with six points.

Southampton took a 20-9 first-quarter lead and led 35-9 at the half and 48-12 going into the final quarter.

Southampton is 6-3 overall and 1-1 in the Southside District and will travel to Northampton for a 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, game.

Windsor will host Sussex Central at 5:30 p.m. Friday for a Tri-Rivers District match-up.
