COURTLAND—The Southampton High School girls’ volleyball team improved to 10-0 after sweeping Southside District foe Brunswick on Thursday night.

The Lady Indians won 25-9, 25-12, 25-9 and improved their district record to 3-0.

Madison Cabell had three aces and nine kills; her sister, Marisa Cabell, added one ace and two kills.

Madeleine Kahle had two aces and seven kills, Candace Earls made seven assists and two kills and Grayson Drake and Claire Cogsdale, had six assists each.

Southampton’s junior varsity squad won 25-17, 25-13.

The Indians on Tuesday, Oct. 11, will play Prince Edward on the road and host Greensville Thursday, Oct. 13. Both games start at 6 p.m.
