Mr. and Mrs. Steven Askew of Eure, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Lynn Askew of Eure, to Wade Harris Boyce of Hertford, N.C.

He is the son of Pat Boyce of Hertford and the late MC Boyce III.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darden Askew of Eure and the late Roy and Irene Worrell of Holland.
Her future husband is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. MC Boyce Jr. and Pallie
Harris, all of Elizabeth City, N.C., and the late William Harris.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 8, 2011, at Eure Christian Church.
