Crystal Edwards and Allen Butler are engaged.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Annette and Richard Edwards of Franklin. Her grandparents are Ruth Edwards of Drewryville, Virginia Seckora of West Point, and the late Roger Edwards and Carl Seckora.
A 2002 graduate of Franklin High School, Edwards earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration from Francis Marion University in Florence, S.C. She is employed by Armstrong Wealth Management Group.
Her future husband is the son of Mary Lee and Charles Allen Butler Sr. of Courtland. His grandparents are Virginia Roughton of Franklin and the late Harry and Kathleen Butler, and Roy Darden Sr.
A 2003 graduate of Southampton High School, Butler attended Paul D. Camp Community College. He is employed by Isle of Wight County.
The couple will marry Oct. 27, 2011, in Nassau, Bahamas. A reception will follow on Nov. 5 in Courtland.
