CHESAPEAKE—Douglas Deloane “Golf” Williams, 73, of Chesapeake died April 15, 2011, in Suffolk.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, April 20, at Union Baptist Missionary Church, Suffolk. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake.

Mr. Williams was a native of Capron and retired from Newport News Shipbuilding as a painter after 27 years of service.

Survivors include one daughter, one son, seven sisters and five brothers.
