SUFFOLK—Gladys G. Bailey, 83, of Suffolk died March 27, 2011.

Funeral services were held Thursday at East End Baptist Church. Burial was in Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery.

Mrs. Bailey graduated from Hayden High School in Franklin and retired from Leggett Department Store after 24 years of service.

Survivors include her husband, Saul June Bailey; two sons; and a brother, Booker Patterson of Ivor.

Cooke Overton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
