Desiree Cantrell of Hunterdale and Jason Gunn of Courtland are engaged.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bonnie and Tim Cantrell of Hunterdale. Her grandparents are Sue and Bob Cantrell of Windsor.
A 2007 graduate of Franklin High School, she also graduated from Southampton Memorial Hospital School of Practical Nursing, where she studied to become a licensed practical nurse. She is employed at SMH.
Her finance is the son of Dawn and Marvin Gunn Jr. of Courtland. His grandparents are Lillian Gunn of Courtland and Katherine and Cliff McWaters of Chesapeake.
The future groom graduated from Southampton High School in 2007 and received a degree in mechanical engineering from Old Dominion University. He is employed at Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipyard.
The couple plans to marry April 16, 2011.
