LAWRENCEVILLE-Isle of Wight Academy lost 10-7 to Brunswick Academy in football action on the road Friday night.
The Chargers, 2-2, scored their only points late in the second quarter on a pass from Ben Epps to Zeb Warnick.
Brunswick kicked a field goal in the third quarter to break a 7-7 tie and made it stand up for the win.
“We had our opportunities — dropped passes, balls that should have been caught,” said IWA head coach Dale Chapman. “It’s typical of a young team.”
