SUFFOLK—Mary Estelle Bradshaw Perry, 94, died Sept. 20, 2009.
A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Ashton Bradshaw and Mary Florine Wills.
She was predeceased by husband, Zachariah Perry; son, Jerry M. Perry Sr.; granddaughter, Heather E. Perry; several brothers and sisters.
She was a homemaker and co-owner of Z. Perry & Sons Lumber Co.
Mrs. Perry was a dedicated lifelong member of Liberty Spring Christian Church where she was a member of the Ladies Bible Class, adult choir, Women’s Fellowship and Sunshine Circle, as well as serving in the nursery of the church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda P. and Corky Davis; sons, John Fredrick Perry and George Earl Perry; grandchildren, Jerry Jr., Jeff, Carl, Cindy, Tim, Sharon, Jennifer, Greg and Newman; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held today at 3 p.m. at Liberty Spring Christian Church with the Rev. Allen Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence.
