Teddra L. Lawrence
FRANKLIN—Teddra LaShunda Lawrence, 26, died June 6, 2009, at her residence.
She was a native of Fort Hood, Texas, and was a member St. Paul United Church of Christ.
She was predeceased by her father, Stewart K. Lawrence, grandparents, Roxie Edwards and Cleveland Lawrence Sr. and uncle, Cleveland Lawrence Jr.
Survivors include her mother, Nellie Matthews of Franklin; brothers and sisters, James Clark of Greensboro, N.C., Latisha McNear, Katrina Lawrence and Kelvin Lawrence, all of Franklin; special devoted aunt, Barbara L. Parker of Holland; special dad, Dennis Matthews; nieces and nephews, Shanikqua McNear, Cornesha Wellons, Shuntrel McNear, Tacarie Belcher and Alayah Belcher, all of Franklin; grandfather, Moses Edwards of Florida City, Fla.; godmother, Lisa Gay-Whitfield of Franklin; aunts, Sarah Parker of Suffolk, Eva Hunter of Suffolk, Dorothy Lawrence of Chesapeake, Eula Reese of Hampton and Deborah Walker of Florida City; and uncle, Eddie Tillman Jr. of Killeen, Texas.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Franklin, with the Rev. Joseph J. Ferguson officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
