Enoch Moore
SUFFOLK—Enoch Moore of 2648 Badger Road, died Feb. 3, 2009, at his residence.
He was a native of Southampton County and the son of the late McCoy Moore and Margaret B. Parker.
Mr. Moore was a member of the New First Baptist Church, Hosier Road. He retired from Walker Poroswall Pipe Company in Ridgefield Park, N.J.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Virginia Moore; one son, Enoch McCoy Moore Jr.; a Goddaughter, Rotashya Clemons; seven grandchildren, Jala D. Moore, Diamante Moore, Enaizjha Moore, Shiton Scott, Tykila Boyd, Shiquane Clemons, Avyontae Clemons all of Suffolk; seven sisters, Eva Louise Taylor of Dover, Del., Lillie Mae Harris of Suffolk, Dorothea M. Scott of Murfreesboro, N.C., Mary Lee Parker of Cofield, N.C., Martha Ann Holloman of Ahoskie, N.C., Gloria Jean Robinson of Virginia Beach and Cassandra Parker-Brown (Scott) of Aliquippa, Pa.; two brothers, Joe Lewis Moore of Harrisburg, Pa. and Edward Lee Parker (Debra) of San Antonio, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at New First Baptist Church, Hosier Road officiated by the Rev. Lemuel Greene.
Interment will be at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home Inc. is handling the arrangements.
