Sylvia L. Scott
CONWAY, N.C.—Sylvia Lawrence Scott, 63, died Jan. 10, 2009, in Rich Square, N.C.
She was born in Southampton County. She was an inspector at International Textile Group for 16 years.
Survivors include one son, Steven Baird of Van Nuys, Calif.; mother, Florence Cooper Lawrence of New York, N.Y.; father, Otis Rommie Lawrence of New York; two sisters, Evelyn Lawrence of Franklin and Carolyn Washington of New York; two brothers, Donald Lawrence of Como, N.C. and Bill Lawrence Jr. of New York; one grandchild, Paris Baird of Van Nuys.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel.
The Parting view will be held from noon to 1 p.m. the day of service.
Burial will follow in Mill Neck Baptist Church Cemetery, Como.
