FRANKLIN — Pearl Faison Pulley, 88, widow of Leslie W. Pulley Jr., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020, in East Pavilion.

Pearl was a daughter of the late George L. Faison, and Mary Barret Faison. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Dan Faison, Mills Faison, Glenn Faison, Samuel Faison and James Faison; and two sisters, Eunice Hatfield, and Evelyn Benton.

Pearl was a member of Franklin Congregational Christian Church and took care of children in her home for over 40 years. Her greatest pleasure was raising her family alongside her husband. Many fond memories were made during family camping trips, backyard barbeques and pool parties.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Terry P. Butts (Junior) and Tammy P. Beale; sons, Tony L. Pulley Sr. (Gerri) and Tilden L. Pulley (Beth); sister, Rose Atkins; brother, Albert L. Faison; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, Crystal H. Boyce (Chris) and their children, Christopher Dunlow and Justis Boyce; Amy H. Maye (Jeremy) and their children, Brianna, Abigail, Bryce, Nola and Barrett; Tony L. Pulley Jr. (Casie) and their daughter, Amelia; Brandy P. Powers (Will) and their children, Ella Kate and Cooper; Chad A. Beale (Nicole) and their children Nate, Brynlee and Brady; Wade L. Beale (Kelly) and their children, Dayvee, Walker and Cash; Joshua J. Beale, Jordan L. Pulley and Michaela A. Pulley; a host of nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Flo Turner.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Faison officiating. The burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home, and suggest that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
