FRANKLIN — Linwood “Rico” Reese of Delk Street, Franklin, peacefully departed his earthly life to claim his eternal rest and peace on Oct. 15, 2020.

He was born Feb. 13, 1956, to Elsie J. Reese and the late Joseph “Joe” Reese in Southampton County.

Rico” attended Franklin High School, and was employed with Southampton County Public School System for 14 years.

His memory will be cherished by his daughter, Shonté Walker; his mother, Elsie Reese; sisters, Gloria Britt (Robert), Reneé Beverly (Floyd), Kim Ashe (Randy), Deborah Reese and Evelyn Turner (Buckey); three brothers, Tab Reese, Ronald Reese and Desmond Seaborne; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many caring friends.

The service for Mr. Reese will be private; however, a family and public viewing will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 20, during the following times: 2 to 7 p.m. His remains will be interred in Southview Cemetery.
