Michael and Mecalah Bryant of Ivor announce the birth of their daughter, Harper Grace Bryant, born April 30, 2013 at Obici Hospital in Suffolk.

She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Her brother is Asher Bryant, age two. Maternal grandparents are Kenny and Belinda Jones of Courtland. Paternal grandparents are Jerry and Beverly Bryant of Franklin. Three great-grandmothers are Margaret Johnson of Courtland, Bessie Jones of Branchville and Nannie Council of Ivor. Godparents are Matt and Whitney Coppola of Suffolk. Aunts are Jazmine Jones of Courtland and Yari Arvelo of Centreville, Va., and her uncle is Bentrick Bryant of Lynchburg, Va.
