VIRGINIA BEACH – Velma D. Jones of Hillcock Crossing, Virginia Beach, passed away on May 28, 2025. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 – 7 p.m. On Sunday, June 8, at 2 p.m., a homegoing celebration will be held at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 346 Boones Bridge Road, Como, North Carolina with the pastor, Rev. Elliott Hill delivering the eulogy. The committal and benediction will follow in the church cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
