COURTLAND – Josephine Pearl Foore Poe, 90, passed away May 16, 2025 in Courtland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born and raised in Huntington County, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late William Ross Foore, Jr. and Myrtle Ora Evans Foore Black. Josephine worked for Stanley Company, a sewing factory in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania for 41 years. She loved to sew and make clothes.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Daniel Glenn Poe of Franklin; a brother, Ronald E. Black of Florida; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at Parklawns Memorial Garden and Mausoleum in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania at a later date.
